Launched in February 2014 by Sarah Jessica Parker and George Malkemus (who is the CEO of Manolo Blahnik), the SJP Collection is a growing fashion label based in NYC

The collection was built upon three main pillars: delivering quality, using color as a neutral, and giving the single sole a new heartbeat.

Each shoe in the collection is handcrafted in Italy by a third generation Tuscan shoemaker; a luxury shoe offered at a fair price point.

The collection is comprised of classic, timeless silhouettes meant to fit into a woman's life for many years to come.

Each SJP Collection product features a signature grosgrain ribbon detail.

This design is a nod to Sarah Jessica’s childhood and memories of wearing grosgrain ribbons in her hair.

The grosgrain stripe is centered on the back of the heel, covering the seam. Grosgrain ribbon has become SJP Collection’s signature accent and Each season introduces a new color.

"I'm very clear about why I have the opportunity to have a shoe line. If I hadn't played Carrie Bradshaw, there would be no reason in the world someone would say to me, 'Yeah I'll invest in your idea, I'm enormously aware of how I find myself here, but by the same token, I work my ass off."

"The cost is not without controversy, I'd love to be able to make a shoe like this for a much lower price, but you can't make a handmade shoe in Italy for cheap. I can't ask a customer to spend her hard-earned dollars on something that's going to fall apart in two weeks. I have to make shoes that I want to wear."
